Yuvasree Scheme – West Bengal

INTRODUCTION -

The Yuvasree scheme emerged as a big advantage for the unemployed youth of the society. This scheme was put in front by the West Bengal State government. Ms.Mamata Banerjee launched the Uvashreescheme to assist the unemployed youth with financial support. This scheme was implemented earlier also but it was know with other name i.e. YuvaUtsahaPrakolpo (YUP). This was maintained by the Labour department of West Bengal and the YuvaUtsahaPrakolpo (YUP) on October, 2013. This scheme as it is now was implemented for the financial assistance to the young youths to increase the employment skills and knowledge. It encourages entrepreneurship among youth in the state.

Due to increase in the number of the unemployed youth in the state of West Bengal, government decided to provide some opportunities in front of the unemployed youth to enhance their business thinking and ideas and build up some new ideas to generate as much as self-employment within themselves so that there would be decrease in the number of the unemployed youths. So government of West Bengal with the coordination of Labour Department of West Bengal started this scheme to reduce the unemployment form the state.

This scheme enables to give all allotted unemployed youth with Rs. 1500 per month. Due to this scheme all the candidate who eagerly want to get the privileges they will enthusiastically try to do their work for self-employment. Nearly 1 lakh of aspirants will get chance to get their dream fulfilled by the financial assistance they will get from the government which help to increase the employment in the state. This Yuvasree scheme is going to be maintained by the Labour Department.

SCHEME OVERVIEW –

The Yuvasree Aarpan scheme is a financial assistance scheme provided by the government of West Bengal to all those unemployed youth who can get the facilities to build up their business ideas for the betterment of the state. In the scheme government of West Bengal will provide Rs. 1500 per month to at least 1 lakh to all the unemployed youth. This scheme will be fully controlled by the Labour Department of West Bengal as because this initiative was put by the labour department.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA –

For getting the advantage of Yuvasree Scheme for self-employed facilities under this allotted candidate or person should acquire with the essential criteria which is necessary for applying for the scheme.

• The aspirant should be the resident of the West Bengal to start getting the privilege of the scheme.
• To register for the scheme the aspirant should carry a technical degree from the acknowledge institutions.
• This is important that the aspirant should not get the aid of any financial encouragement or credit from the state of central government associated to any self-employment scheme.
• There should be new job ideas/ business ideas, grubbing-up plans within the aspirant to generate self-employment among each other.
• There should not be any criminal charges or penalize for any criminal wrong on the aspirant.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR SCHEME –

For the fulfillment of applying for the scheme a person should carry some essential documents to avail the scheme along with the application form. All the documents which are required for the scheme are mentioned below :

• Residence proof (Aadhar Card, valid passport, tax bill, etc.) of the aspirant.
• Identity proof (Voter Card, Aadhar Card, PAN Card, etc.) of the aspirant.
• Xerox copy of the Higher Secondary marks sheet of the aspirant.
• The aspirant should carry his/her bank account details. (Xerox copy of passbook)
• Two or three passport size photograph of the aspirant. (coloured photograph)
• Degree certificate from the acknowledged institution of the aspirant.
• Any other educational certificate should be provided if asked. (optional)

PROCESS OF APPLICATION –

To enroll for the Yuvasree prakalpa scheme all the aspirant should first register in the employment bank which is an online job search portal for all unemployed candidates. This is a step put forward by the West Bengal Labour Department. After visiting the site register yourself as a job seeker and then click on the “New Enrolment Job Seeker” after that click on the ‘terms and condition’, after reading it carefully click on the ‘accept &continue’ button. Now the aspirant will get a ‘New Enrollment’ form for job finder. After filling the form carefully with all the asked details and information, click on the SUBMIT button to save all the mentioned details.

After you submit all your asked data the aspirant will receive their individual Registration number with some other details. Now the aspirant should visit to their nearest Employment Exchange with all their documents and Registration number of employment bank to activate the job seeker profile. After verifying all the documents they will activate your profile and now you can receive all new job update and then apply for the yuvasree scheme.

Now to apply for Yuvasree scheme you have to follow some steps and submit their application forms. All the steps are stated below :

• As per the first step download the application form for Unemployment Assistance (Annexure-I) and then download the format for Unemployment Certificate by Group-A officer (Annexure-II).
• Now comes the last step toward the process of application i.e. government will now prepare a list of lucky aspirants who will register on the employment bank website (steps are stated above), on the basis of their qualification for Yuvasree scheme. Those who have been selected their list would be published on the website.

CONCLUSION –

Yuvasree would become one of the successful schemes which would be a privilege ladder for the unemployed youth of West Bengal state. Due to this many unemployed youth will get financial assistance of Rs. 1500 per month to nearly about 1 lakh of job seekers. This scheme will help all those unemployed youths to get employed as well as it will emerge as a bright future for the state as because it will reduce the amount of unemployed youth in the state by giving them employment. This scheme was put in front by the West Bengal government for those unemployed youth to get financial aid by the state government.
