WHAT IS WORK ORDER?

A work order could be a document that entails details about an upcoming project. It is an internal tool, used as a reference point between a customer and a business. A work order may also be created as follow-ups to inspection or audits. Work may be for products or services.

TYPES OF WORK ORDER:

There are two types of work order-

1. Quotes

2. Orders

1. Quotes: - This record a list of products that a customer may want to buy and the prices of the items that you quoted to the customer. Items on a quote cannot be committed in your inventory.

2. Orders: - This record a list of products that a customer is likely to buy. Items listed on an order can be committed in your inventory and the price for each order item is optionally set. If you set the price for an item, you can optionally limit the quantity of the item that the customer can take at the specified price. For services, orders may be used to schedule employment for a client on a specified service date the product or service is scheduled to be delivered.

WHAT IS WORK COMPLETION CERTIFICATE?

An official document issued by a project manager or contractor at the end of project or work is known as a work completion certificate. It is prepared by the project manager to mark the project as completed and also to get paid. Work completion certificate can be used in several fields.

The completion certificate should be pertaining to the work specified in NIT. If the completion certificate has mentioned on multiple nature of works executed by the agency in an exceedingly single tender as well as the work per the NIT, then the worth of work as per this NIT can only be taken in account for evaluating the eligibility of the bidder. The decision of the authority in this respect is final and binding.
