INTRODUCTION:

Kalyani is a city and a municipality of Nadia District in the state of West Bengal. It is situated fifty kilometers from Kolkata. It is the administrative headquarters of Kalyani subdivision. It is also located on the eastern banks of Hooghly River. It is a part of Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority.
