Scheme Overview

 

The State Industry Department had come up with the novel idea of Shilpa Sathi, a single-window system for investors where an investor can submit a standard form within the Single Window Cell at WBIDC.

 

The GOWB has operationalized a web-based single-window service (Shilpa Sathi), which is a digital gateway for providing the required statutory compliance under the applicable government acts, rules, policies, and schemes. Investors can obtain the certificates and licenses required for fixing and operating a business in West Bengal during a smooth and timebound manner, eliminating the necessity to go to any department or office physically. The action is, therefore, completed. Additionally , the GOWB’s Department of MSMEs has found out 25 MSME facilitation centres to supply hand-holding support to entrepreneurs, with one facilitation centre in each district. Shilpa Sathi’ provides guidance and knowledge to investors about policies and programmes of the state. MSME Facilitation Centres (MFC) have also been found out in each district for MSMEs.

Eligibility Criteria for Shilpa Sathi

 

Any IT project to which this scheme applies shall be eligible for securing an Eligibility Certificate provided that:

a) The project is roofed by an in-depth feasibility report/project report prepared for the purpose;

b) The project has been approved and sanctioned by the Central Financial Institutions or the Commercial Banks or the State Financial Institutions, recognized private Financial Institutions because the case could also be. within the case of projects with the arrangement of finance from own resources, the difficulty of Eligibility Certificate shall be considered by the WBEIDC provided it's satisfied with the arrangement of such finance.

c) IT Division of a corporation claiming incentive which has declared to possess been found out after the first August 2012, regardless of the date of incorporation of the parent company, the IT division of the corporate could also be considered for an incentive from a date the division has been registered with STP, Kolkata and /or the other EOU scheme offered by Government of India.

 

Applying/ Registering Online for Shilpa Sathi

1. The applicant has got to visit Shilpa Sathi Portal to avail the respective services online.
2. Click “Apply Online” to open Shilpa Sathi single-window portal as shown below.
3. On click of “Click Here” hyperlink (which has shown in above Image) check in Page will open.
4. Username Should be but 10 Characters an equivalent should be Unique.
5. Password should have one numeric, one uppercase, one lowercase and a minimum of 8 characters.
6. Both Password and ensure Password Should Match.
7. Shilpa Sathi will accept the Unique Email ID and therefore the Mobile Number for every user.
8. After completing all the small print click the register button.
9. On Click of Register Button, Shilpa Sathi Portal will show a message as “Email has been sent to” registered post ID.
10. Check your email you've got received mail for validating. Once you verify the mail using “Click here to validate the account”.
11. “User Validate Successful” message will show. After Validation Successful User can log in employing a registered username and password.
