REGISTRATION PROCEDURE:

NGOs are a community of organizations set up by the citizens, which include associations and club which provide services to their members and others. NGO is private agencies that can support development at local, national, and international level by organizing groups.

NGO is an independent non-profit organization established with the objective of social cause. NGOs may be funded by governments, schools, foundations, businesses and private people. The Registration process for NGO is available under various Acts in different states, under Trust, Society and Non- profit Private Limited Company. This Organization plays an important character in the development of Indian society as it works in the interest of the general people. NGO Registration:

  • Form INC 1: Registration name of NGO
  • Form INC 7: Application for establishment of the NGO.
  • Form INC 8: Declaration
  • Form INC 9: Each director affidavit certificate.
  • Form INC 12: Form should be submitted to earn a license to run an NGO.
  • Form INC 13: Memorandum of Association; It is a declaration by each subscriber to the Memorandum.
  • Form INC 14: Declaration from a practising Chartered Accountant. (CA)
  • Form INC 15: Declaration from both person making the application.
  • Form INC 16: License as Section 8 Company.
  • Form INC 22: Details Registered Address of the NGO
  • Form DIR 2: Consent of Directors
  • Form DIR 3: To Application to ROC to get DIN.
  • Form DIR 12: Appoint directors of the NGO.

An Application for Registration:

The application form should be signed by the applicant before the regional officer of the regional office. The application form should have presented, together with a copy of the trust deed.

 

Basic Requirement For NGO REGISTRATION:

  • A Memorandum of association of the organizations.
  • Copy of constitution of the NGO.
  • Address and location of the head office of an NGO.
  • A copy of Registration form, that is available without charge.
  • A minimum of seven members comprises a managing committee.
  • All members consent letters of the managing committee.
  • Authority letter duly signed by all the members of the managing committee.
  • Full names and signatures of founder members.
  • While deposit the registration papers, it is important to keep in mind that society by the same name is not already registered in the state.
  • Any other particulars as may be required by the Registrar.

NGOs can be registered in India under the following laws:

  1. Trust under Indian Trusts Act, 1882
  2. Society under Societies Registration Act, 1860
  3. Section 8 Company under Companies Act, 2013
