Food categorization code
Any type of food manufacture or food supply and other food-related business you have created an FSSAI licence. Normally FSSAI licence has three types they are basic registration, state licence, central licence. What type of license you need that decide your protection and turn over. Just example when your turnover less than 12 lakhs per annum you need abasic registration when your turn over less than 20 cr but more than 12 lakhs you need a state license and you turnover limit is more than 20 cr you should need a central license. WHAT IS FOOD CATEGORIZATION CODE?
FSSAI notify individual food item into a code that means any food item refers to a unique code that helps you a very short time recognize a food item.
WHEN IT IS USED?
When you apply for the registration and license you should fill the food categorization code, not the fill food details. You have only put the food categorization code, that code describe all incidents and all features of the particular food item.
