The RKVY scheme has been revamped as Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana - Remunerative Approaches for Agriculture and Allied Sector Rejuvenation (RKVY - RAFTAAR), aiming to make farming a remunerative economic activity through strengthening the farmers' effort, risk mitigation and promoting agri-business entrepreneurship for the period 2017-18 to 2019-20. To implement RKVY -RAFT AAR, it is mandatory to prepare a State Agriculture Infrastructure Development Programme (SAlOP), besides preparing the State Agriculture Plan (SAP).
